A casino chip RFID reader is the hardware frontline of chip authentication on the gaming floor. Cage-Side Reader Board

A stationary sensing station placed at the cashier counter. Designed for high-volume chip withdrawal, return, and issue workflows — the cashier places chips on the board, the system reads the full batch at once, and every transaction is logged with timestamp, chip ID, denomination, and operator. This is the core reader for cage-level chip authentication and inventory control.

Handheld Terminal

A portable reader carried by pit bosses and security staff for mobile chip verification anywhere on the gaming floor — at the table, in the count room, or during chip transport. Reads chips in batches the same way as the cage board, giving on-the-move authentication without bringing chips to a fixed station.

RFID Gaming Table

An RFID-enabled gaming table with built-in readers at every player position. As chips land on a betting box, the table reads the chip UID in real time — betting volume, chip movement, and player positions are tracked automatically during play. RFID gaming tables are the in-game layer of the chip authentication flow, giving pit bosses live oversight without interrupting play.

Full Traceability With the Cage Accounting System

All three readers feed into the SIM Cage management system. Reading events flow directly into the cage accounting platform, where buy-in, cash-out, exchange, withdrawal, and tip-settlement transactions are logged with the chip IDs detected — closing the loop between physical chip handling at the counter and the digital transaction record at the cage.
