What does a casino cage RFID chip reader do?
The reader board sits at the cashier counter and reads the RFID tag inside each chip. When chips are placed on the board, the unit captures their identifiers and checks them against the system database, so the cage can confirm what is in front of it instead of counting by hand. Chips that do not match an authorized record are flagged immediately.
The result is a chip record that is created at the moment of the transaction rather than reconstructed at the end of a shift. Issue, return, destruction, warehousing, fill and credit are all logged against the chip identifiers detected, which is what makes the cage position reconcilable.

How does the reader connect to the casino management system?
